anyone here tried using this card to pay for telco and utility bills via their respective websites and got 7% rebate successfully?

ie. M1, Singtel, Starhub, etc

Always do that, always get back

a CC new user here,

how do i know when is my period for hitting the min. $600?

say my due date for payment is 08/04/2017. does that means my 30 days cycle will start from 09/04 to 08/05? so long my transactions appeared during this period will be counted to the $600 monthly requirement?

Hi,

You have to look at the bill's date of issue.

For example , my date of issue is 16 of every month, so my $600 period runs from 15/2 to 16/3.

Another indication is that my Cashback is also posted on 16/3.

Alternatively, just call the Credit Card hotline.

My understanding is, follow to the statement date. There are 2 dates in your cc statement. 1) statement date = billing cycle. For example 19-Mar
2) payment due date. For example 10-Apr

Let's say the statement date is 19th of the month, next billing cycle is 19th-Mar till 18th-Apr.
Your last transaction better to be 16th and before, so that the posting date of that last transaction could be posted into cc account by 18th of the month.

My recent SCB Singpost Statement
Both Starhub E-Payment not considered as Online transaction.

Anyone encounter the same?

Asked via IB Mail :

The definition of ‘qualifying online purchases’ refers to online transactions that exclude purchases via the telephone or mail order.

However previously Starhub E-payment was ok for 7% all along since DAY 1 (my very first Statement from years back)! (Paid via Starhub Portal Online)

No mention of any changes to this in their TOS as well.

Rebate posted next month statement.

rebate post next statement? But this month statement already can see the rebate amount earned this month even not posted (can not use yet). Right?

From the rebate amount we can calculate quality or not for 7% right?

Yup. My Starhub payment this month (2 Mar) was offline too. Starhub might have changed their payment gateway as they did not ask for OTP when I paid.
