Not really. The rebate is based on posted transactions in the statement month and it should be credited on 24th.

so this means something like this?

if (Spending from 1 Jan 2017 to 31 Jan 2017 >$600) then
cashback is credited on 24 february 2017

or is it something else?

Per your example, it should be

23rd Statement Date -- Billing Cycle

24.01.17 to 23.02.17 (>$600 < $857)

7% (Online) Rebate will be posted on 24.02.17.

so that means confirmed, all spending from 24th of the month onwards, if from that day to 23 of the next month, will get the cashback on 23 of the next month if you accumulate $600?

Not really. The rebate is based on posted transactions in the statement month and it should be credited on 24th.

i think Traz meant that if you spending is on the last few days of the statement month e.g. 22nd or 23rd, then it might not be posted in time to qualify towards the cashback, since transactions are usually posted only a few days later.

My latest statement 23 Aug - Singtel not awarded 7%. Last month was ok, thought problem has been rectified. Now problem back again, hahaha. CSO agreed to credit back. He also mentioned bank recently updated the system to hv singtel online transactions earn 7%.

The rest Qoo10, Lazada, HDB carpark, Silkair, Amazon singapore, LTA e-svcs were ok.

i don't quite understand if i did something wrong. this is my most recent statement

23/08/2017 30CASHBACK 22.80 CR
20/08/2017 JAPAN AIRLINES 914.00 DR

So I spent $914 on 20 August. That was my only spend for the whole of august. on 23 I got $22.80 cashback. How did they arrive at this? I thought it was 7% cashback?

anyway it was credited on 23 august.

Does this card rebates includes Insurance Premium?
E.g: Like using Prudential iPay Portal to play online.

anyone know? gonna pay my pru insurance. check TNC it doesnt exclude insurance.

Which transactions are excluded from earning any CashBack?
The following transactions will not qualify as Qualifying Retail Transactions:
any cash advance;
any fees and charges (including but not limited to annual card fees, interest charges, cash advance fees, finance charges and/or late payment charges);
any balance or funds transfer;
any monthly instalment of an EasyPay transaction;
any amount charged to your SingPost Card that is subsequently cancelled, voided, refunded or reversed;
recurring payments or payments made using Standard Chartered Online Banking;
AXS or ATM transactions made using the SingPost Card;
amounts which have been rolled over from the preceding months' statements; and
any other charge, fee, transaction or payment as we may stipulate from time to time.

Ipay portal only can pay for first premium

What is the amount of total transaction on your 23jul to 22aug statement?

Hello guys, we will be traveling to Hong Kong. I think klook is the cheapest way to book Disneyland etc tickets. Is klook considered as online? Or is it considered as travel? If it is online may be SCB singpost is best or DBS live fresh. If it is travel, I can use cimb MasterCard. Any thoughts, really appreciated.

Also klook is billed in SGD so I can't use cimb visa for online FX 10% rebate. I need to use a local online spend credit card I guess.

ok i got to the bottom of it after calling. The bottom line is
JAPAN AIRLINES website is not recognized as online transaction by Standard Chartered.

anyway these were my transactions:

23/08/2017 30CASHBACK 22.80 CR
20/08/2017 JAPAN AIRLINxxxS'PORE SG 914.00 DR
22/07/2017 30CASHBACK 60.00 CR
19/07/2017 AGODA.COM INTERNET SG 299.54 DR

That was all I spent for the period.

So the latest cashback, $22.80, was for the period of spending from 24 July to 23 August, and actually for the agoda spending on 19 July, because the posting date rolled onto 24 july.

So they told me that the 20 Aug Japan airlines spending was posted on 23 August (still fit into this cycle period) but was not recognized as an online transaction but rather a retail transaction. I explained it was done on their website and after some long waiting eventually they agreed to consider it an online transaction.

So I suggested that they could alert customers of vendors who have this issue so they can inform the vendor or avoid spending on these vendors. They said it is not up to them but rather should fall upon customers to note these problem vendors themselves, and they can call Stanard Charterted to contest the amount when it happens.

I thought it was quite 'pass the problem to other people'.

So we have JAL website not recognized online transactions. Maybe we can start a list so we can refer to all the vendors easily?

Theres already a googledocs where we input these.

Oh wheres the link?

Actually I got the same problem as @Sausage before. Bought ticket from korean smaller airline Eastar Jet but was told the payment was processed offline.

Was quite surprised big airline like JAL was under retail.

So what constitutes online then?

For some airlines, the purchase when made via their website is not processed real time, this is not visible to consumer so that's where the problem comes in...to consumer, transaction done via website = online transaction, but the airline processed the transaction back end instead :s13:
