Hi there, anyone knows if ebay transactions are considered as online transactions to earn the 7%?

Thanks!

Just got this card yesterday and already hit the $60 cap by using it to pay for flight tickets and accommodation for my upcoming Taiwan trip. Seems like a good card for such purchases. Only pity was that I didnt earlier when I was putting together my new PC.

For amazon purchase shld i use scb singpost or cimb visa signature?

Cimb visa signature better. 10% rebate, 2.4% forex fee of 1.4% reimbursed. So effectively 9% net gain. Remember need min 8×$30 min $500, can easily do that by topping up gift card. 10% rebate capped at $60 ie $600 spending.

SCB Singpost 7% rebate, 3.5% forex fee. So effectively 3.5% net gain only.

Wow you never cease to amaze me, this CIMB trick looks good especially since the usually annoying 8 transactions is easily solved by Amazon gift cards.

Having said that, how do you think this compares to the current Citibank 20X rewards 8 miles/$ promotion?

I would certainly look at CIMB once the Citibank is over.

Depending on the usage of the miles, 8miles(less 2.5% fee) may be worth more or less than 9% rebate.

So all along, you've been using the Amazon E-Gift Cards? I feel like buying one of their Gift Card to use and as a keepsake ... but seems like can only go through forwarder for shipping...

Once sign up, approved and you get the credit card, you'll get the $138 credit liao. But must spend within a certain time, can't remember how long liao.

Anyway, I got the card on 20 Aug and now spent about $900+ online liao. See whether can get cashback of $60 or not.

I just got the card today. activated and created acct with SCB online. how do I check if I have the $138 credit?
