not sure if people know about this.
But uber takers beware. There's a minimum of 600$ retail spending per calendar month not billing month for the 20% cashback.

Is Singpost the only card that applies some extra % fee if you pay for stuff on Google? Eg. pokemon coins, subscription packages? Like $14.98 pokemon coins package becomes $15+.

Do other bank cards also charge that extra % for Google transactions? Is this the cross border fee that ppl talk about?

I use Uber and pump petrol and was wondering if this card would be the best of both worlds.

Assuming I spend $200 on Uber and $400 on Caltex petrol, both of which satisfies the min $600 required for the 20% Uber promotion and the 24.06% Caltex Promotion, would that mean that I will be enjoying:

(1) 20% off $200 based on the 20% Uber Promotion
(2) 7% off $200 because Uber counts as online for the SCB Singpost card.
(3) 24.06% off $400 on Caltex petrol.

Would this be the best use optimisation of the above type of spending? Would any other card be better?

I was also looking at the SCB Visa Infinite card, but it appears that I either get (2) above or 1 mile per dollar, unless I spend more than $2,000 per month, for which it becomes 1.4 miles per dollar. The SCB Visa Infinite card seems to be good only if I spend below $600/mth as I will still get 10% Uber rebates.

Any thoughts?
