Sigh! I sent SCB a email asking if airbnb is eligible for the 7% online rebate.

This is the response i received -_-". No clear answer.

We have received and acknowledge your email dated 25th December 2016 with regards to your inquiry on SingPost Platinum Visa Credit Card Cashback.

Please be advised that we are unable to confirm if the airbnb transaction will be entitled for 7% Cashback.

We would like to seek your kind understanding that 7% Cashback on any online transaction is not identified by us as it will be based on codes assigned by Visa.

We hope this clarifies your inquiry.

Airbnb can pay cash one? Or do home owners have the credit card machine at their front door? If not then why would payments to them count as anything other than online?

After 149 pages on this thread, pple are still asking the same question. Alright, let me help a bit. Based on my transactions from the past 4 months, I did get the 7% rebate from 1) Groupon, 2) Lazada, 3) Zalora, 4) Paying Singtel Bill online (on singtel site), 5) Paying M1 Bill online (on M1 site), 6) AirBnB, 7) iHerb.

That's all I can contribute.

rebates or the initial $138 cash credit? either one, if u have $100 credit in ur cc, next day u purchase a $100 item, yes u don't need to pay anything.

if you have the same questions,

S$138 - Given upon sign-up, no min. spending required. If you own a supplementary card (and the Principal Card is not under your name), you are eligible for the promo.
