SCB Supp Card Application

Hi, anyone have experience with SCB supp card application? how long it takes to process? have send in since early Jan, until now no news or reply yet. Bank line always so busy to call through.

Sidetrack a bit, but do you really need it? SCB supp card gives the exact same number as primary card. Supp like never supp like that.

Just apply for a supp card with a different bank lah.

Yah exact same so I got banned by Uber back then coz they insist my hb's and mine are duplicate accounts, I even emailed and told them but they don't care.

Applied very long ago, can't remember the timeline. felt that banks like very slow in processing applications since Dec, mayby holiday mood. My BOC card applied in Dec till now still hanging there.. bank emailed last week, I replied immediately, no news till now..

U can try SCB online chat since u are alr a customer, sometimes I get better response from there

Same number also doesn't matter ma, usually supp card is to accumulate together with primary to hit spending quota for cashback etc..

Yes, when I first got the supp card many years ago, I was also puzzled, but now used to it alr. only issue is if one card needs to replace maybe due to fraud or loss, both cards will be cancelled and replaced together, coz same number.

wah..that sucks.. I recalled I had a minor issue with duplicate number, but too long ago, can't remember exactly what happened or how it was settled. Now alr used to it being same number. Guess just need to be a little careful with online platform in case of duplicate number issues

anyway mange to call through already, got a very stupid response from them. online state that i can fax it in, CSO say i must bring the application form to branch then can apply for supp card. nowadays who still go to bank and queue for applying things?

bring it to the branch doesn't necessary mean need to queue up. sometimes can just pass the form to them

Thanks for sharing. This is for SCB supp card? Wow first time read apply supp card need go branch. Wil you still proceed or switch to apply supp card with other banks?

will be switching to other banks instead since scb supp card share the same number with primary card. actually thought to apply for my mum to use for household spending to help earn abit points.

what kind of issues you mean? main thing why i need apply because mum old already. very stubborn dont want use apple pay this kind. bobian need physical card.

Actually first time I see supplementary card and main card same number. Not sure whether SC is sibei innovative or sibei cock. Not sure what to say. Like that I also a bit worried a huge bulk of my investment is on their banking platform. Balls shrinking already
