Hello, thanks for the detailed breakdown! hm, if I understand correctly, the cadet pilot training is expected to take 18-20 months. Do you also happen to have any information on:
  1. Along the timeline of 18 months, when will cadets start drawing salary? Or cadets will only start getting salary/allowance starting from the "6 months actual operation"?
  2. During the 7 months in Jandakot, does the school fees of 153k (idk, maybe the 2nd phase payment?) include food, accommodation, etc?

1. I am not sure. I withdraw from their program...Iirc, it starts from the time when u flying revenue flights.
2. It is a separate fee.

Keep in mind when you pay for accoms fee, food is included. But if you’re picky, you’re gonna spend a bomb there. Meals in perth ain’t cheap. Sweet sour pork rice during dinner can go up to $15.

plus think about cash for your entertainment. Guarantee you plus chop you’ll wanna go out and sightsee or walk or meet your gf/friends/family when they visit

Hi, May I ask, is the accoms fee part of the 150k course fee or it’s another add on?

Thanks for this detailed post! so therefore, for example, if you are on the A320 fleet, you will have to fork out/loan 153+34-55=$132k for all course fees?

Please remain hopeful everyone! I didn't expect to make it to the next round considering I felt I did quite poorly for the aptitude test. I didn't managed to finish all the verbal reasoning questions -- I wasn't mindful of the time limit that we were given. Also, the monitoring bouncing ball counting task was a nightmare -- my guess are almost off by 1. I also made couple of mistakes in the multi-tasking task too.

I believe they are still processing all applications and manually triggering the invitational emails -- I got mine very late into the night yesterday.
Don’t give up if you don’t get it.

I have applied for SIA and Scoot since 2017, failed the SIA final interview once, failed online assessment fot scoot twice. SIA apply again in 2020 reject, then Scoot also on hold in 2020 until now. Finally passed the online assessment!

Took 5 years to finally proceed 1 stage in Scoot. Probably my last attempt also as I am approaching 31.
