You don't find it makes the watch look really thick? I'm tempted to get glass screen protector but curious how well it responds to touch when wet (I like to wear my watch in the shower).

I wash my watch every other day, with screen protector. Water didn't sip through. However, Glass screen protector leaves bubble at the 4 side of the watch. So if u re particular of it, then i advise u not to use a glass screen protector. I will continue using one after brushes against doors and railings. It really helps to protect it.

im using both the Tough Armour for 42mm and Tugged Armour for 38mm. The protection is solid as i have bump the 42mm on railings a few times.

Only cons is i struggle to take them out everynight to wipe dry the water or sweat that gets trapped in between the rubber and watch chassis. Wonder when will it break. haha

Hmm good point. I just bought the clear plastic ones for my 42mm and my fiance's 38mm... but I enjoy wearing mine in shower so might need to take it out when I bathe.

I guess i will have to live with the taking out - putting back routine as i don't want risk damaging the watch. I have my MiBand and because i wear it 24/7, the insides have sticky grime and its darn hard to clean it off.

I may consider the thin armour which snaps on the front of the watch.

What kind of watch case would have a screen protector.

Looking at the tough armor but kinda thick.

Does anyone know if slim fit have sp with it?

Is screen protector really necessary given the Sapphire/Ion-X glass?

Since most said Ion-X glass is almost same grade as iPhone screen, I apply screen protector for iPhone screen and has also done so for sport watch

Maybe no need screen protector for sapphire glass. But to note that sapphire glass is higher scratch resistant and not scratch proof. It can be scratched under rough condition or high impact on screen (knock on railings). Am telling from Rolex experience.

Rolex service centre told me that sapphire glass watch face can crack if dropped (very rare but has happened) and customer has walk in before to ask for Rolex sapphire glass replacements at $100+++

They replace glass only and not watch bezel.

Moral of the story is, prevention is better than cure. If you know that you are the 'clumsy' sort of person, better to go get and case and screen protector for your watch.
