Correct.

Anyway just walked walked see see unless you are looking at certaim brand but not all brands have.

And as what my tour guide told us this time round the discount not that good as compared to last time.

Still saw a number of people in our group buying blue labels, Puma and etc.

where r u driving from to Shiretoko ?
From New Chitose airport. Stopping at Obihiro first, going along the south route, up to Shiretoko, through the north and central areas, then to Funaro, finally to Otaru and Sapporo before returning to Chitose airport.

i mean where would u be staying to get to Shiretoko ?

r u going Obihiro, Kushiro, to Rausu then to Shiretoko ? if so, that would be one long road trip !

or cutting inland into Akan, then into Shari, and on to Shiretoko ?

I will be going all the way to Akkeshi and then spend the weekend near Lake Akan before continuing to Higashimokoto. I will be staying near Higashimokoto to go up to Shiretoko. It will be a slow long drive, on average close to 200km of driving each day.

Decided to skip Nemuro and Shibetsu.

May has plenty of daylight hours, good for long distance driving, ... bring sun screen n wide brim hat .. the UV is scary

from Akan going towards Mashu & Higashimoto, can visit Highland Koshimizu ... nice vantage point

if u take other route to Higashimoto, Bihoro Pass is also nice vantage of Lake Kussharo

i also visited Shiretoko in May, saw 2 bears  and some deers, foxes r more likely

Past trips, i stayed in Abashiri, then drive to Shiretoko. This coming Oct, will stay in Akan and then Shari, to break up the long drive.

Actually I find the flies in Singapore nicer.

Maybe I am getting used to the taste.
imo JP fries taste lighter & healthier, depends on oil used to deep fry. probably got to do with Japanese food preference.

So u prefer sg or jp mac? They got any special menu which sg don't have? like thai got pork burger etc.

The beef is nicer for Japan one but maybe I am used to the oil for the fries so I prefer the Singapore one.

Menu here :lick:

Yeah I learned my lesson, to bring a pair of sunglass. The glare is crazy for long driving.

Yes! I will be taking the Koshimizu route and will stop by at the view. 😻

nothing special, just usual beef, fish, chicken with teriyaki, samurai, shrimp

but in Japan usually WYSIWYG … unlike SG
