10k FD 1 year, board rate only. Best Frank credit card gives u 6% rebate for online max 1k spend per mth, 0.5% above 1 1k. Use another cc for the other 1k lor if u want to earn higher rebate, but if from another bank u need another 10k FD, hahaha

Does ocbc allow you to get Frank CC? Nothing is mentioned in the website..

I have googled on this secured card and there this UOB one card that gave 2% for online purchases if frank doesn't allow me to get than I guess I will go with the UOB one card.

Banks that offer secured credit card with FD of S$10k.
Those whose salary below 30k per annum can apply.
Great for students and retirees too.
Credit limit is either 10k or a little less.
The banks are:

ANZ
CIMB
CITI
DBS/POSB
HSBC
Maybank
OCBC
SCB
UOB

Any more?

I have applied for several secured credit cards and I usually get the promotion interest rate (and not just board rate) for the FD.

Seeking assistance from those who have applied for secured cc before. thinking of applying for one for my parents, then open 360 a/c so that they can enjoy higher i/r rates.

Is there a special procedure? can't seem to find this option in the normal c/c application form. Online application too, doesn't seem to have any option advising the bank.

Yeah I also thinking abt this.. Can we link our secured frank card to the ocbc 360 acc? So we can enjoy the 1% interest? I have a savings acc with ocbc but yet to convert to 360 acc.

U have to go to the branch to apply cc, place FD, earmark the FD, etc.

u have to open a new 360 account, cannot convert, apply Frank cc card, place FD, earmark FD. So long u fulfil the 3 criteria, u get the bonus interest on 360, no need to do any link
