Hi guys, I am planning for a self drive trip as well. I was told by my colleague that he was rejected by a car rental company in taiwan because he has no experience in left-hand drive.

I have extensive driving experiences in malaysia and australia, but not left hand drive countries. If I have IDL, will they reject me?

Supposedly no. By left is no, by right anything is possible.
Not forgetting, there is not only one rental in Taiwan.
