Even their restaurants prices is cheaper than in bkk also
I can't rem much of the prices. I can only think of Mid-Winter Green is on the expensive range. The others I think is average price. Those cheaper one are local restaurants my driver drive as too.

can go look up.

but maybe i rmb wrongly, if the price is around 100 100+ the stuff i ordered should be considered ok la.

1 steak, 1 pasta, 1 pizza, 1 burger, some sides and drinks... old man memory not good

really depends on what you're after and want to do in khaoyai and also the time you go. Go during the colder months, it's really nice in the morning and evenings and if you are into exercising, trails, runs, there is plenty of nice places to go. But yes, apart from that, i agree, there is limited availability of fun things to do. You must really like the outdoors
I'm looking at going there end of the year is it a colder month?

Dec and Jan is cooler month. If you walk the trail to mountain top, temperature will be colder but most attractions are not that high, so I think about 20 degree bah. Few years back, I went in Feb, not cooling at all.

If you want cold weather, try Chiang Mai, mountain peak 11 degree. Ground level every morning and evening about 20 degree. I just went on Late Jan this year.

Khao Yai itself is cooling or just not hot only at the ground level or only slightly cooler like 22-24C at night/early morning, rarely very cold. Unless you go up the mountainous region/area then it gets very cold at night and early morning, day time is cool nice weather even when sun is out

never felt unsafe during day time. Khao Yai is not a big modern city with skyscrappers etc, so night time is pretty dark with not much street lights so you will not find yourself walking around at night out in the street except driving to your destination like shops/restaurants and then back to your hotel which can involve stretch of pitch dark streets getting to/fro hotel but again I did not feel unsafe when driving with gps getting to places, as long you know where you going.

Basically, Thailand is safe. Maybe only no so safe if you get too close to wild animal in the national park. I stay in car when see a big group of monkeys passing by. I didn't get too close to deer when it's drinking water at the tourist center.
