Self-drive to Khao Yai

I'm looking at going there end of the year is it a colder month?

Just went there last dec. Temperature at night and early morning is 10 plus C only. I basically didnt on aircon

Basically, Thailand is safe. Maybe only no so safe if you get too close to wild animal in the national park. I stay in car when see a big group of monkeys passing by. I didn't get too close to deer when it's drinking water at the tourist center.
