Total of 5 pax, will there be space for your luggage’s if you self drive? Personally I would recommend a driver using a 10 seater van. Don’t have to worry about space, where to park etc. he will be waiting for you wherever you go. I got mine thru Klook and am happy with them. At least it took the stress out of driving in Bangkok on my last day.

Total agree, yes after going thru the map and i reckon most of Khao Yai sighteeing places are far apart thus 'chicken out'.
Manage to engage a driver whom my close friend used last Dec from pick up and return back hotel and daily 10hrs sightseeing trip, the company charge me Innova car 3000THB/Per Day.
Coz if I use big names like Hertz/Avis/Budget(included optional charges like insurance etc...coverage) the amount also close to my above total.
Hmmmm I'd also read review about Klook and apparently I saw a lot of negative review.

Hi you mind to give me your date of traveling and nos of pax?
Coz it was my friend who help me to book(which they'd use the transport company last year and so far they're happy with it). I must say this is the few transport company that quote me 3,000THB per day the rest their prices were exorbitant. If I'm able to obtain the name card I'll forward you.
Innova can sit 7pax.

No firm date yet so no rush. Hard to fix dates for the family. Presently only 4 pax with luggage.

Anyone who drove to Khao Yai and also went to the national park ? How is driving within the national park? Is it easy to drive within the National Park? Like to look for places and will there be signs or animals on the road?

May I know how is the weather there in Khao Yai? Heard that the weather is pretty much cooling there. Is it true? Will be travelling in June.

I don't think so. If want cooling then go end of year start of year period ba. June don't think so. Windy maybe? At night ba. Day time should be hot .

May not be accurate. Went like 2-3 years back.

May I know which company you rented the car and pick up from? You mind to reveal the cost?
Using your own cell phone Google map to guide you or you'd a reliable GPS device?
Any problem finding parking and location to those places of interest?
Plan to go Pak Chong night market thus was still figuring out where to park...
Had shortlist a transport company with Driver at $700+/- using a Gasoline minivan.

Most of the company are ok. Budget, rent a chic, asap. Or go for bigger one like hertz, eurocar? Or something..

Vios city those kind should cost between 40+ to 60+ including zero excess insurance depending which coy and whether u rented with promo. Smaller car like yaris will be slightly cheaper.

Google map is good enough. No need to rent gps from the rental company. Don't worry about parking. 100% got some place for you to park.

Just look out for petrol station with alot of shops one lo.
If day time usually they have pump attendant like sg. They will help u. Just state what petrol type and how much. Like tell them 91 full tank. Pay to the person directly after pump lo. They usually will give one free bottle of 1.5l water after that. Think every 500 baht got one bottle or something.

and it's not exactly a highway like nsh.

I rent from hertz. you can go to their website to check the rate. use google map with thai sim card (bought from qoo10). I prob in parking as i went during weekday. Not sure abt weekend. Pak Chong may be quite crowded, can park nearby the road.

Pak Chong market, I won't recommend to park too near. Going to be an issue finding parking space. As you turn in, if you can find any lot, just take it. Don't have to park super near the market.
