when u Submit ur application online u will be required to select u are applying for 3 room or 4 room. Cannot choose two options.

Hence if 4 room by then all taken u will not be called up for appointment.

[=dotaxend;70386729]Question:

I saw that some of the SOBF they group the 3rm and the 4rm together.

does it mean that if the 4rms are all taken, even you want a 4rm , you are forced to take the 3rm else you consider forfeit the chance ?[/QUOTE]

24 hours ntuc nearby in 10 mins walk.
Day and night hawker.

Want more entertainment can go down Toa payoh via bus or city sq mall.

Only concern is the noise and dust. But look at city view at boon keng and Bendemeer light, just next to the busy 24 hour Bendemeer road people also take.

When people have a choice to choose they will even though it's very clear now KW can guarantee u a unit.

I think the reason why KW is so poorly received is due to the lack of amenities around the area. I drive but I don't like driving to town to get my stuff so a good neighbourhood mall is important for me.

Furthermore its really close to the CTE. Noise and dust is always an issue. I live very near the PIE so I can understand.

The lack of concrete plans of developing this area is also minus point.

HDB InfoWEB: Who Can Apply : Financing your flat

You are only required to show that you are eligible for HDB Loan during selection. No need to care about how much loan they offer you. You only need to pay the downpayment. When the flat is ready, then you submit a revised HLE for the loan which is a few years later?

Only that AHG requires you to work for 12 months to apply.

So faster apply now! :)

Yea lor. But the 5% downpayment in cash so even if I want to, financially I'm still restricted. $10k each from me and my gf given that we just grad only also quite hard.

SOBF is different. Hmm.. If they group 3 room and 4 room together, it means you have to choose the 3 room even if 4 room has all been taken up. Otherwise you will be consider as forfeit.

I do agree that for someone who wants this BTO, the chances of getting a good unit is high.

Saving my ballot for the next one at Bedok

My word of advice: Tenteram Peak, is going to have a supermarket and kopitam next to it near the Carpark, Substation is at the carpark (FS wise good alrdy). Any units facing south will be good as no west sun. Overall as what many people express that this is far in, but there are developing the place if you study the site plan. AMK maybe popular and i cannot disagree on the location, but going for some place where you confirm can get a unit is rare especially near city. Supermarket and food court right at ur door step. Do read your site plan.

5% is by cpf not cash. If you and gf don't even have enough cpf for 5% downpayment and stamp fees i really suggest don't apply first.

Under the staggered scheme isn't it 5% cash first? We are not in a rush to get a house anyway and I haven't hinted to her as well. Just monitoring the current market from now till the next 2-3 years.

No. When you apply have to choose either 3 or 4 rooms

Can the 5% payment come from one party's CPF instead of both of us?

yes, no problem, if you have $20,000 in cpf and your parther $0 in cpf you can use all your 20,000. must rmb to factor in stamp fees and options fees (must be in cash first and can be reimburse back from cpf later) too.

cpf (if use hdb loan), only if taking bank loan then need cash. they wanna encourage ppl to get married earlier thats why introduce the staggered scheme (one of you muz be below 30 years old). if cash i think young couple can die. I think is a good thing for you coz i seriously think housing price will drop in the next 2 years, not by alot but maybe slowly decreasing? so yup! all the best to u n gf! :)

OK! I should have enough CPF for both the stamp fees and downpayment, as well as cash for the option fee.
Now I'm thinking if I should pay the full 10% instead of using the staggered payment scheme.
