First timer here. I learn somewhere in this forum that those who apply for AHG will need to wait longer to sign the lease of agreement as compared to those without. I am not sure how true is this actually. My Q no is 6XX out of 888.

Hence I assume that it could be true since my queue numbers are behind and yet I am signing so early.

Cos of what. U need time to furnish the required documents for AHG, afterwhich they will grant you a loan, or a interim loan @ average bank lending rates base on past 3mths if you are still holding a flat and this loan is under HDB loan.

Anyway it will not affect you in anyway as you have already selected a desired unit. The agreement is juz a formality.

will hdb knows the person is not eligible on the first appt date or everyone will submit documents on first appt then if not eligible then will be notified later ? Cause what if the person select a unit then after submitting documents found to be not eligible will the units be put back out for selection ?

Eligibility will be checked on selection day. However this qn i asked b4. I think in rare cases will have funny people choose flat and pay option fee liao then withdraw. Lidat the slot will open up!

Normally such cases is rare. But if this happen, the unit that was selected will be available during release of sale of balance flats. Else u all think those sales of balance flats units come from? Haaa

For those who don't get a selection in amk, don't worry, units will be release again for next sale of balance flats... Just that has to challenge again ... As long there is opening, there is always hope

No leh a forumer told me he followed many btos. Sometimes red slots that are chosen gets opened up, if they withdraw and selection is still in progress. But super rare. If after selection has ended then withdraw, then go to SOBF ba!

What u said is true.. But most of the time withdraw cases happens after selection period. But of course anything is also possible. After HDB has release the rules that if reject will ban one year something like that, chances for drop off will be lower rate.
