Actually the 5G base stations higher frequency hence more powerful. Why don’t that boomer send snail mail to all then telcos ask them to switch off base stations at night?

Translation:
Notices warning residents to turn off their Wi-Fi to avoid radiation were found pasted on lift doors at several HDB blocks in Serangoon. Residents scoffed at the claims, criticizing the act as vandalism and the spreading of false information.

Shin Min Daily News was alerted by concerned readers that handwritten notes had suddenly appeared last Thursday morning (4th) on lift doors at a few blocks along Serangoon Avenue. The notes claimed that Wi-Fi signals are harmful to human health, leaving residents puzzled.

The notices stated that wireless routers emit radiation that can harm people’s health invisibly, urging everyone to switch them off when not in use. It further stated "Don’t live in radiation every day — your life is more important".

When a Shin Min reporter visited the estate, the same notices were found at Blocks 365B, 365C, and 365D.

Madam Huang, 57, a retiree, said she noticed the unusual posting at about 7am on Thursday when she left home to buy groceries. She saw the note as the lift doors closed.

Another resident, Madam Lin, 50, discovered the notice earlier at about 6am. By the time she passed by again around 9am, the note had already been removed.

She said it is not right to paste things like that in public areas. She does not believe what the note claims, calling it absurd.

Housewife Risha said she herself was not worried about Wi-Fi, though she acknowledged some people might have concerns. She added that many residents criticized the act in their chat groups, saying it was irresponsible to post notices without permission and to spread false information. Others explained that Wi-Fi does not cause harm to human health.

The Aljunied–Hougang Town Council inspected the affected blocks and confirmed that the unauthorized handwritten notes about Wi-Fi radiation had already been removed.

A spokesperson told the paper that any notice, poster, or other form of public information placed in common areas must first be approved by the Town Council. Putting up unapproved notices in public spaces may cause unnecessary alarm or confusion and could be a breach of Town Council by-laws.

Reply with a new note. To avoid going out when the sun is out. Sunlight is ionizing radiation. Save your life. Live in the dark
