I'm renting from Klook, $4/day.

Sent from Samsung SM-G965F using GAGT

I checked that too. Klook cost $44 including delivery and changirecommends $59 after discount. I hv been using the latter and it's easy to collect and return at airport. for Klook, I do not hv someone to be at home to collect and return.

Unless your data usage is high can get data roaming from your Telco. So long as it's not China sim card can already.

wifi router can connect to few devices. Battery will drained fast if using phone as wifi. So far my experience with changi recommends is good. Can contact them via whatspp when encounter problem when overseas. Wish they could lower the price though...

I hv tried Solis router service. They are not as responsive, took a few hrs to get back to me.

On a side note... Where is a good place to change rmb..

I hv ICBC unionpay debit card, withdraw cash in china at ICBC ATM is FOC.

Bank officer told me that this card is widely accepted in China as point-of-sales payment. Need to key in the 6 digit pin, not paypass

Currently I am using the DBS debit China UnionPay card. It comes with 5% rebate if total spending for the month is $400 or more. Also free ATM withdrawal. Only problem is that some of the merchant terminals cannot accept non-China issued unionpay card. For such cases, I would have to pay using cash or WeChat Pay.

Hi all, I'll be in Shanghai next week. Any recommendations on where to eat Xiao Long Bao? Also, is the Yu Garden still under renovation and will most shops be closed or can walk around? Thanks!

To obtain Shanghai Transportation Card at PGV airport, which is the nearest metro station to get and what is the direction signage to this counter?
Better to get Standard card or get 4 day tourist pass or either one can buy and can it be extended or better to get a specific type if i am there for 7 days?

Well, it all depends on how many metro/subway rides you will be taking in the 7 days, no? If you are doing day trips out of Shanghai, to say Hangzhou and Suzhou, etc, then you won't be taking the metro in Shanghai, what's the use of getting the 3 days pass? Is there a 4 days pass?

There is only one metro station at the Pudong Airport, just like there's only one mrt station at Changi Airport. There are ticket machines at the metro station. Just follow the signage at the airport. It's pretty idiot proof.
