Kids don't know wtf is an iPad until a parent gives it to them to shut them up. And blame the parent as well for:
1) Not setting screen time
2) Not setting app restrictions.
3) Not observing what their own kids are watching and doing online.
4) Not understanding what their own kids are watching and doing online.
5) No balance between screen time, school work time, parent interaction time and real play time (like outdoor activities).

Per day 20mins max + I know the context of every single show that my kid watches.

My parents will beat me to control me. Also no privacy in the house, they read my mail (I'm 27 now), my emails and make decisions for me from young (clothes, food, university degree to study, CCA).

How come you leave out your parents also give you 50k per month as living expenses.....

U were once a teenager just like your kids. U try to recalled your teenage life and think what you have done to make it better.

Base on your post it seem that your kids likes to go out with their friends and show tantrums at home.

what I suggest buy a delicious dinner their favourite food and have family dinner during the dinner talk to them like adult and ask them what they like and what they want to do take interest in them show them u are there and supportive.

many children and parent not close to each other because they never talk I mean when I say talk u talk show interest and make it once a week then I sure slowly slowly they get closer to u parent again.

because parent don’t spend much time with children always busy working and don’t make the effort to have family time children will find friends to fill up that roll and once they feel friends are more important then parent then u have a hard time.

communication is the key here.
