Hmmm i never heard abt this. But i handled a case whereby both husband and wife were living in the states (they are both malaysian citizens then migrated to US). Then the wifey died at 40s due to cancer and the husband got another much younger gf (i think taiwanese or PRC). The man told me he is old already want to sell off his wifey stocks and give the monies to the younger gf. He told me his children with the first wife are doing very well (doctors, lawyers etc) and dobt need his monies. Lol. The young gf serve the man very well. Carry his bag etc. Sigh.

You not around any more already you think your wife not lonely not depressed wont get another shoulder to cry on? Especially if she has a very good friend who is around to support her in times of need. Thats natural la. So if you love her deep enough then just let her use the monies in any way she wants when you are gone. Thats it. If not thrn use all up dont leave anything behind. When my dad passed away also never leave anything behind for my mum.

If sincerely ofcos not a problem. But my gut feel is that she is after his monies. Likely the old man knows it himself but just that he chose it that way. He is a bit slow and muddy at times when he talks but i can tell he is not a stupid man. Maybe he needs a companion lar. Happened to my uncle as well. He withdrew his cpf monies and gave to indonesian lady in exchange for companion? I dont know very well but after his monies sucked dry i think the batam gal never bother him alry.

I think maybe thats why she manage to persuade the old man to sell the estate's stocks and give the monies to her as a gift.

Difficult lar the younger gf is such a sweet talker and serve him so well. Got looks got figure. Tough job man. And the old man quite reliant on her.

I would work as long as I can, even if it as Mcdonalds or something to keep my mind active. It isn't healthy just staying at home the whole time watching TV.

For some old people, their spirit is willing but their body cannot take it. I guess working half-day or part-time is still not physical-taxing.

That's still work lol. Tougher work even than juet sitting in an office somewhere if you ask the mommies who basically work entry level positions just to pay the childcare fees.
