f/2.0, should have use 2.8, but that was my best shot of her today (i had to leave home after that)

Actually to get a sharp portraits at f2 is easy, all my cats and cosplay portraits are shot using f2.

Try using live view and focus on the eye. Live view helps alot on portraits work;)

If you want to get the ear in focus, f4 will be better as f2.8 the DOF might not be enough to reach the ear.

thanks for the tip, i used live view for this. Eyes are now sharp and focused

welcome. Or your can shoot in RAW and then sharpen in during PP.

shooting it in raw, but trying to figure out how to sharpen it. PS camera raw doesn't seem to sharpen it even when i tried playing with it :(

:eek::eek::eek: u nid to zoom to 100% to really see the effect. just pump up the sharpening if you are shooting at low iso, increase the radius also helps.
