Wow, I had to spend a few sec to understand what you are trying to show and finally figured out it's the light trail you are capturing. I suggest you try this light trail capturing on either overhead bridge or roadside in order to capture the light trail fully. Go with a small aperture so you can keep the shutter open longer without overexposing.
