u cannot do it straight from cam.

u need to shoot in raw or jpeg (raw preferably) then using editing software like CS, lightroom etc, then do selectively de-saturate.

hi i got this book photoshop for digital photos by scott kelby, yet it never tell how to do a selectively de-saturate? any link?

raw file holds more data, contains all the highlights etc then a compressed jpeg loh.
