Comfort is more important than marnee lah. Unless really financially constrained, Comfort>$$$. I one man household also $200 but I rather pay than make myself sweat or have to wait for my PC to boot up or leave my washed comforter to accumulate dust in the sun.

Did you subscribe to those Geneco 24 months fixed electricity tariff at $0.26 kwh plan? Otherwise, having higher air con bills for hot weather months is very natural. Nothing to be surprised about, right? If you still paying the prevailing Singapore's power rates, then really nobody else to blame already.

if i go outside chill lakopi and such, i will spend alot more many hundreds

Actually, you should just say Utilities Bill, cos some ppl switched out of SP and went for other Providers like Geneco and Tuas Power.

I feel for most of us, it's either water or electricity usage that is high. I rarely use gas.
