those are just official coupon codes from DBS etc, why not approved by ShopBack? who got so much time to check just for the sake not be played out by Shopback?

or Shopback just want to make sure we wouldn't use any coupon codes?

And they probably don't get any money if you use codes issued by other organisations like DBS. If they don't get paid, how to share with you?

Reasons ShopBack gives for not giving u any rebate .... thread carefully ...

*Rejected: Your Cashback claim was not successful after query with our
> merchant partner due to one or more of the following reasons:
>
> 1. Incorrect submission of missing cashback details
> 2. Cashback has already been tracked in your acount
> 3. Cancellations, changes or refunds were made
> 4. Usage of non-valid discount codes
> 5. Clicking on the merchant's ads on Google, social media, or other
> coupon/deal websites, after clicking through ShopBack
> 6. Not clicking through ShopBack again after facing payment error
> 7. Order does not meet the merchant's terms and conditions
>
> It is in our best interest to ensure you get your cashback as ShopBack

are you from shopback?

okay, even if this is the case, why shopback can just simply give us the cash back base on the amount exclude the part relevant to codes from DBS etc?

I'm not from ShopBack. If they don't get paid at all from lazada or whatever cos you used a promo code from the bank, how can they give you any rebate?

Why are you assuming everyone is from ShopBack?

There's really no point arguing if you don't follow their tnc properly. It's like arguing with the bank for not giving you rebate when all your transactions were clearly excluded in the tnc.

this is between DBS and Lazada, right? How can you convince me this should be the reason for the 3rd party Shopback to skip the cash rebate it claims for?

Wow you clearly don't understand how this works. The reason you get a rebate is because ShopBack gets a fee for referring you to make a purchase. When they get the fee, they share it with you. If you use a code from DBS, it means DBS referred you, not ShopBack. So ShopBack doesn't get paid, and they can't pay you.

You need to learn to read TnC and follow it.

okay, for that case, could you simply point to what are the codes to be allowed to use, e.g. for Lazada?

None?

Also, does Shopback ask customer to check what codes allowed to be used before proceeding to use Shopback service, otherwise ZERO cash rebate?

If not, is it considered cheating?

How the heck would I know? Check the lazada page on ShopBack. The one you have to click through anyway.

I don't buy from lazada and I sure as hell don't owe you an answer.

Not sure about the other merchants. I usually book hotels.com. Find it very annoying that the cashback reflects as 0. Have to chase after 60 days and a few times I kena this rep from ShopBack that cannot read. Very frustrating to deal with. They really make you work for your rebate.

Zalora, sephora, eBay so far ok

confession: i accidentally cheated shopback. Expedia hotel stay over for 75days still no cashback, write in to complain. They jitao manually credit me the 8% cashback. Then mysteriously, on the 80th day the system credited me the original 8% cashback. So end up I got 16% cashback =:p

It's their own fault anyway for the system glitch. I had like 4 hotels.com rebates not tracked properly. Write in still kena the rep tell me I only just checked out and need to wait 60 days when the original confirmations I forwarded showed I checked out months ago and 60 days already passed.

Not so lucky to get double rebates

Gotten $280++ cashback xfer into my bank account so far from taobao purchases. Though i waited almost 4 months, they still honor the rebates. Keep calm and follow their rules.

So far for the past one year i have been using shop back with Expedia.

Cashback process is indeed long but of course, in terms of savings, coupled with credit cards, it's worth it.

It's a great platform for cc users who are primarily into milege and able to get some cash back
