Ya lor. Sigh.U mean shopback pay? I think people abuse the method too much...
I once had this experience. I filed for a claim and I even showed them proof of click activity that I clicked through shopback. It is important to show them the click activity in my opinion.Anyone has missing cashback and successful file claim before? Past experience always fail even when I click thru shopback and didn't navigate to other page..
This time bought some expensive stuff so if no upsized cashback then it will be not worth.. Shopback will only notify me if claim is successful next year January hence also can't return for refund.
starting point is that the transaction is tracked within 48hours.I once had this experience. I filed for a claim and I even showed them proof of click activity that I clicked through shopback. It is important to show them the click activity in my opinion.
However, my claim was not successful as I had used a promo code and shopback refused to give me the cashback.
So far all my missing cashback claims were unsuccessful... shopback always had some reason to give me.
What happens if you cancel the booking? Or for non-refundable rates, the hotel either doesn't honour your booking or shuts down, and Expedia/Booking have to refund you? (This happened to me before, and I got a free $100 credit from Expedia.)ya..the problem with shopback is the duration it takes to get the rebate. esp for hotel booking.
eg, I booked hotel for end of year, and it will start clocking only after the hotel have registered your visit, and takes another period of time for shopback to acknowledge...

You still go back to the service you booked from for the service recovery, nothing to do with shopback. If for some reason your stay was cancelled then you don't get the cashbackWhat happens if you cancel the booking? Yes, you are correct (at least on Agoda) and the ShopBack amount is insufficient to offset the price difference.never ever book hotels with Shopback. If you compare the pricing without clicking on their links, the shopback pricing is much higher.
same mcc as direct chargeWhen link credit/debit card to shopback pay when the MCC of transaction be the same as direct credit/debit charge or would it be MCC of shopback pay?
Am concern on eligibility of shopback pay payment has been stopping me from using it.
First check on the various apps on your account to source the lowest hotel rates, then click ShopBack to get back via the link, and check again.never ever book hotels with Shopback. If you compare the pricing without clicking on their links, the shopback pricing is much higher.

If same or similar then proceed lor, else if too far off , don’t .
Just did a trip and most rates at various apps are the same via ShopBack link.
All but one captured ( one probably due to time out ) and most are pending now - bookings fulfilled and waiting for confirmed payout about 90 days later
There were several short term promos of 8-11% on hotel stays , and captured, so quite hopeful ( total pending about $200 accumulated ) so let’s see in Dec/Jan .
would not lose anything in any case, as those were booked at the best rates that I could find anyway. Some doubledip with UOB LS card ( via Amaze ) when billed in foreign currency .
