wgats AIO? and what do u mean by K series? sorry.. noob questions yet again

AIO coolers are all-in-one, meaning already got pre-filled liquid.. Examples are Antec 920, Corsair H80i, H100i, NZXT Kraken X40/60, Silvertone TD02/03, etc...

K series of your CPU denotes that it is overclockable. non-k cant overclock.

K series means overclockable chip. So like got i7-4770 and i7-4770k, both almost zero difference with the exception of i7-4770k being unlocked to overclock and able to overclock better. You got the K series and they didn't even bother giving you a better cooler, because the stock intel cooler is just not enough especially if you going to OC.

I think AIO he meant by AIO Watercooling systems such as the h100i or thermaltake water extreme 2.0.
AIO means All in one btw, unlike custom watercooling loops, these loops are closed and you just need to mount them, no maintenance required except cleaning of the radiator.

So yeap since you got a powerful cpu, but no AIO also not really good to Overclocked it.

Basically we recommend a water cooling AIO system is also because usually when you overclock your cpu speed your CPU might get really hot. Without a proper cooling system your CPU lifespan will shorten.

Nevertheless that is if you overclock it.

If not then an intel heatsink is enough for you IF you think that after all the damage Fuwell has done to you is bad enough. Take one step back and enjoy the beast first. Relax for probably a month or 2 and when you got the money you can consider getting a decent AIO cooler.

Is threadstarter going to OC? If just mild OC, the stock HS is enough. If no OC, the stock HS is enough.
