Dunno if it's a thermal issue because it doesn't happen after playing for a long time it happens immediately when I start the game right after I start up the computer. So what I do is move the mouse around and it lags I walk around and it lags but after awhile the gameplay becomes smooth again and it doesn't lag. But everytime I start the game change from one character to another and after the game zooms to the other character in another part of the map the game lags like crap again and I need to move the mouse around walk around awhile before the performance improves. Same problem when playing GTA online. When I start a mission the game lags like crap. Like the com needs to warm up before it can run the game smoothly. Weird because I don't have that issue when I play other games.

Tell you what, download HWinfo and monitor ur CPU performance and temps during gaming. That should give you more insight.

are you using an ssd? might be because the textures are still loading even after you game has been loaded. i never faced the issue you've experienced even when using a 2500k at stock clock and a hd7850

2500 at 3.3ghz is really cutting it close nowadays. I need minimum of 4ghz to maintain speed with my 970. Some games like dying light even benefit from 4.5ghz.

Your 770 is slightly weaker than a 970 but still 3.3 is not enough. Wont die but in some games will have cpu bottleneck.

What mobo r u using? Some might offer limited overclocking. You can try software overclocking if desperate too, but that im not well versed need to ask others

I am using some bio star mobo super old does not allow over clocking according to the guy because I don't OC so he recommended 2500 to me instead of 2500k

Yes I think you kinda hit the nail.

I know when I drive really fast in GtA some of the textures will slowly load up the details of the buildings will be totally blank but slowly it will load up.

So how do I solve the prob?

Is there a reason for why the textures take a longer time to load up? Is it due to my gfx?

I also noticed the same when I play battlefield hardline that occasionally the textures will only load after I moved past an area but for hardline it doesn't lag and I am able to play it smoothly.

I will try to clean up the dust in my com and monitor the temp.

But any chance that my gpu is faulty?

There is that possibility as well. There are actually quite some possibilities. So you have to diagnose part by part and isolate the problem.

Jialat now only worried is GPU problem then might as well upgrade whole com. But I play Fifa no problem maybe because requirements very low. Only hardline and GTA have textures being slow to load and super lag for GTA
