Flashed and Rooted latest FW via Mobil Odin Pro

Someone from Malaysia (WiLyi of Lowyat.net forum aka @williamyi in XDA) succesfully flashed and rooted the latest UK firmware in his N9005 (our N3 Model) using the Mobil Odin Pro 3.85 without Knox trigger.

what is the latest FW for singapore?

I keep checking samfirmware and samsung-updates and it is still stuck @ MJ1.

I think the Hong Kong one is updated to MK1, do you guys think we can flash that into our N3?

it's still MJ1 which still have the old boot loader.

I'm planning to flash the latest FW for UK which a forumer in XDA said can be flashed by MOP without tripping the Knox to 0x1. But your device should be rooted first before MOP to works.

my friend bought an overseas n3, tried to flash it into HK / SG firmware for the chinese lang...

in the end the phone no audio. (no ringtone, no sound from incoming calls, no keypad tones)

then cannot get back the original stock firmware cos he dunno where the phone is from...

now only can use his n3 for whatsapp and sms lol.

Followed the thread and took the plunge. Did the firmware upgrade and KNOX wasn't triggered.

I'm doing mine by tonight or tom morning. As long as we have the old bootloader from MJ1 it's safe to upgrade the FW without tripping the KNOX using the MOP.

I don't belive MJ7 was a major update. Network signal was initally worse but has since improved for some strange reason. Signal strength is pretty good. Can't comment on battery life since I've been on the new firmware for less than 1 day. Sound from the speaker is apparrently better but I can't tell the difference. Interface seem zippy as usual. So far so good.

Where are you downloading? It's only one file @ Sammobile?

files before update the ROM.

Just flashed MJ7, no wipe. Knox 0x0, fake Official. Had to reinstall Wanam, busybox and TTB.
Wifi on 2.4Ghz getting stronger signal, hope no more unstable internet notification.
