Description Mobile ODIN is the on-device firmware flasher of choice. Just throw those firmware files on your (internal or external) SD card, start Mobile ODIN and flash away. ! Your device must be rooted to be able to use Mobile ODIN. Check the list below to see if your device is supported ! If you use the EverRoot option, Mobile ODIN will root the firmware while you flash it. Checking out that new leaked firmware? No reason to lose root! Currently supported devices: Samsung Galaxy S: - GT-I9000/B/M - GT-I9003/L - AT&T/Rogers Captivate SGH-I896/I897 Samsung Galaxy S2: - GT-I9100/T/G/M - SHW-M250S/K - SC-02C - AT&T SGH-I777 - Sprint/Virgin/Boost Epic 4G Touch SPH-D710/VMUB/BST - USCC SCH-R760 Samsung Galaxy S3:
the only way for root without tripping knox for MJ7 is via kingoapp.
But sadly, it does not support N9005XXUDMJ7 yet.
Samsung this time has really hit my button, had been a long time user of galaxy models from s -> s2 -> note -> note2 and now note3, this is the first #£#&¢$© time cannot root due to stupid to knox..
it's not that you cannot root.
you can still root but there's a big chance that you will trip the knox efuse and void your warranty.![]()
I am about to hack care knox and root it anyway...
really hate that so many things can't be done without root.
if your FW is still below MJ6 and have the old boot loader, you can still root using the DLV method.![]()
anyone updated to XXUDML2 with mobile odin pro?
currently knox 0x0 with MJ7 rooted. not sure if i should take the plunge.
Doubt there will be a firmware update by MOP that will trip knox.
I did it and counter not tripped anyway.
noticed any improvements from MJ7? i'm still having second thoughts in upgrading.
xda got mixed reviews on the recent updates and most of them still complaining about the battery drain.
I flashed the MJ7 UK firmware thru MOP before and not the official SG update, I wonder if that made any difference why Im not having this batt drain problem.

And that samsung bloatware is crap.![]()
