I think George (creator of towelroot) did mentioned any kernel
build date before 3 of June, can use this method.

Therefore any ROM after 3 June may not able to root with this.

Was in NE4 and rooted successfully with towelroot, then OTA to NF3, root is gone and towelroot doesn't work anymore.

Why Rooting a Note 3 equals to epic failure ! First every update you must do a full wipe not like original Note 3 ROM where the update does not mess with your data. Second your warranty can throw in the dustbin because when you send to samsung center they will do a full wipe & install, which will brick your Note 3. Than you will be left with a $1000 jelly bean replica.

Not a pro but,

1. Who says every update = wipe. For the same custom ROM you flash, most of the time a dirty flash w/o wipe will work. And.. Restoring the device takes less than 10mins, not including customising the launcher though. Tell me for sure, Samsung firmware don't need wipe. How many people send to service center because of firmware issue.
2. Like duh, warranty can be thrown into garbage bin. Obviously people who root their phone know what they are doing, and with the towelroot, warranty and knox not tripped/flagged. Flash to original fw, still can bring to service center.
3. If you Dk what you're doing to your phone and start flashing stuff anyhow, brick your phone. Blame yourself. You created the 1000 dollar trash.

Rooting simply unleashes the phone capabilities and not restrict it. Just my 2 cents worth.

There're apps which can make restoring a wiped phone easy as pie.... Like I use titanium backup.

Rooted and updated every single stock firmware using mobile Odin pro... No pains no wipes!

Knox alReady tripped... From s2 to nexus 4 to note 3 all rooted and never sent to service centre before... Maybe I'm just pure lucky

You're not the only one. Note 1, note 2, s3, note 3. Not one of my device went to service centre before.
