bite sms working for u guys?

im on the 4s JBed.

buit when i install bitesms 6.1, phone will hang and have to do a hard reset. i have to uninstall bitesms sia.

Maybe some tweak u installed hv conflict?

maybe you can try to download their bitesms from their beta repo?
Go their forums and find the repo.

try using iFile or iFunbox and see the Ownership and Group for the original files. see if your edited files matched.

But the problem is that Starhub carrier logo does not follow the images.
Our carrier logo is "STARHUB" while the images in our phone is "StarHub"

Notice 1 is all caps while the other is not all caps.
I really hope that some1 can shed some light on themeing the carrier logo.

Been trying to theme my starhub ip4 since iOS 4 to no avail.

I manage to change the telco logo from starhub to custom logo using winterboard in my iPhone 4.

I found this method from MacThemes Forum / Change carrier logo without winterboard

Here is what I did

1) Install fakecarrier free app from Cydia, and change the default carrier to something else, e.g. Starfruit

2) Under winterboard theme folder\Bundles, create a folder com.apple.Unknown

3) Prepare the custom png logo files and copy it inside com.apple.Unknown folder as
Default_CARRIER_Starfruit.png and FSO_CARRIER_Starfruit.png

4) Copy the theme files to iPhone4 through SSH (I use WinSCP)

5) Respring and your new carrier logo should take effect

So far i done this on both my ip4 4.1 and wife ip4 4.1 no problem lea.

Ok , i tried to provide more detail steps,

1) Jalbreak iphone with afc2add installed via cydia.

2) download ifunbox via i-FunBox | File Manager, Browser, Explorer, Transfer Tool for iPhone, iPad & iPod Touch via USB

3) Run ifunbox with iphone connected via USB

4) navigate to phone>raw file system>var>mobile>library>carrier bundle.bundle

5) notice the 2 png file of your carrier without @2x filename.

6) You just need to drag and drop from your pc to ifun box directory the image file and rename it exactly the same but with @2x.png (example FSO_CARRIER_M1-3GSM@2x.png) drag and drop the same image file to ifunbox and rename Default_CARRIER_M1-3GSM@2x.png .

Turn on airplane and off back to see changes.

my carrier is m1 . If your carrier is starhub or singtel . Just follow the initial file name at the directory and add @2x .

There is no need to del away the 2 file with the name without @2x cause it will not affect at all.


Hope the above steps works for you guys.

PS. you can rename at ifunbox using right click on the file.

works on iphone4, iOS 5.0.1....matches 3G fireball theme well...

name them as following:
TS_CARRIER_"OPERATOR"_1only_@2x.png
FSO_CARRIER_"OPERATOR"_1only_@2x.png
Default_CARRIER_"OPERATOR"_1only_@2x.png

Those that are on M1 can download the M1 logo I have made for winterboard. Copy to winterboard folder then activate it.

Carrier Issues

Finally 4S is able to JB again for IOS 5.01

Btw those using Red Umbrella wants to change your carrier, Pls follow the guide below:

1) Duplicate in total 3 pictures of yr carrier
2) Name a folder called (eg: star carrier), inside e folder name a folder called (Bundles), inside Bundles name a folder called (com.apple.SingTel_sg), then inside (com.apple.SingTel_sg) drop all 3 carrier pic and rename all 3 carriers in to this file called:

- Default_CARRIER_Singapore Telecommunications_1only_@2x.png
- FSO_CARRIER_Singapore Telecommunications_1only_@2x.png
- TS_CARRIER_Singapore Telecommunications_1only_@2x.png


*M1 n Starhub, I am not sure yr carrier name but you can check it under "/System/Library/Carrier Bundles/iPhone" scroll down and you will see different carrier names all over the world.

Hope this info helps those who encounter carrier problems

Weather code should be mostly inside the HTML file. eg: widget.html

Open up the HTML file and look for "var locale" change it to "SNXX0006" will do
