Seems like can only register to 1 bank account only if IC or HP number are the same between 2 banks. I registered for SCB & when later tried for UOB, it stated that it is already registered in another bank, need to de-register first with the bank. hmmm....

yup. alr did. for those looking to register with scb, do note it HAS to be using MOBILE number not NRIC to get the promo. i first registered using NRIC then when i read the tncs realised need HP so i deregistered NRIC and used HP.

You cant escape the NRIC part even for scb. When you log into your online banking, the NRIC linking to your acct is already automatically captured & there's no option to change that.

Guess so. So far, what I can gather is :


1. POSB/DBS : lucky draw for iPhone
2. Maybank : lucky draw for cash
3. OCBC : lucky draw for cash
4. SCB : $10 sign up promo
5. UOB : $5 sign up, another $5 when do transfer with app
6. HSBC : ???
7. Citibank : ???

register first, then go in to delete NRIC from SCB PayNow setup

You can. Uncheck it.

Registered SCB for my mobile earlier this morning without registering my NRIC.
NRIC already registered with DBS prior, see can heng heng get iPhone or not.

Technically 1 person 1 bank but you can choose to register NRIC with bank A and HP number with bank B
