I don't think the Intel part will run hot because I believe there is a hard limit of 65W for both the Deskmini and Deskmeet. The Deskmeet is clearly the better choice if you don't mind it being bigger in size, because it is more versatile and comes with a 500W PSU. Anyway, the B660 version of the Deskmeet is quite a bit more expensive than the AMD X300 version.

I agree. The airflow looks bad. Most the vents are at the top, which will be mostly blocked if a dGPU is installed.

I finally pulled the trigger and bought the Deskmeet X300 from Lazada. Bought for $294.

Initially thought of buying B660 but it meant I needed to buy new CPU. Additional cost. Decided to buy X300 instead. Buying directly from Tech Dyanmic with 3 years warranty also gave me a peace of mind. This machine is to replace my Deskmini A300 that I too bought from them back then. I RMA the A300 with them last year and it was a breeze. Don't have to proof of purchase because they have the sales record in their system.

My new asrock deskmeet X300 is installed with ryzen 3 3200g and 32gb of dd4 3200 ram (Win10). No OC tuning. All default bios setting. I play World War Z Aftermath on high setting and get about 30 to 40 FPS.

I bought a used RX550 4gb to pair with the 3200G and yet i am getting the same FPS range. Does not seemed like the extra 2gb of graphic video ram does anything to improve the FPS.

gpu performance not determined by just the amount of vram available. make sure u plugged ur display cable into the gpu, and if that doesnt help, can try monitoring ur cpu load too, the 3200g isnt that strong. then again, the 3200g has a more modern version of gcn vs the rx550, and has the same number of shading units along with similar clocks. while tpu lists the 550 to be 35% faster, i wouldnt be surprised if performance ends up to be about similar.

Thanks for the feedback. It is most probably my own unrealistic expectation. Playing the same game on another computer (ryzen 5 2400g, RX580 8GB with 16GB DDR4 3000mhz) I get about 60+ FPS. I was thinking a dedicated gpu may boost my FPS on the DeskMeet to 50+ FPS. Things goes not go in a straight line I guess. There is other consideration other than FPS. Texture, shades etc. I did not carefully compare the quantity of the image (onboard graphic vs dGPU). I was never much in gaming and FPS. Since I could see statistics, I started to compare. Silly me.

yes GTR6 newly out (not on Amazon yet), price should be pricey on launch.



$500-700 can only buy SER series and maybe lower spec GTR model.
