[SIC] Realtek Driver to add SRS, Dolby Digital Audio & DTS!!

It was modded by a Spanish guy, he previously even did a Creative Mod with CMSS and Crystalizer.

I tried the driver, and it made movie sound like the whole Cinema experience with my on-board sound Realtek ALC889.

I am using the latest 2013 version. But for some reason, I can only choose the default CD or DVD format, I cannot change the default format to 24bit, 192khz which I used to do with the normal driver. Anyway, with SRS, DD and DTS turned on, it sounds great.

Dunno leh.... it is just modded driver for on-board sound mar... no harm trying it out...

It actually enhance the sound...

i'm using xfi titanium to generate DTS... if onboard sound also can (via optical), i can sell the sound card liao !

still can't beat an external DAC for music listening which is the only thing i care about.

yea onboard sound can have DTS and DDL, that's why I didnt get a dedicated SC. The quality is the same or better since the decoder receiver that determine the quality.

I supposed so, I saw the option under DTS...

I only have a problem in BF3, after I finished 1 game, it will turn silent, and I got re-select the default format again to regain sound.

Most motherboard dun have native anything other than regular sound chip.... all those DD and DTS are all software one... just that this guy modded the driver to unlock it....
