will u guys have any idea if we can use this method on comp A to get the ISO
then use the ISO on a brand new comp B without any OS installed?
will Windows 8 able to activate on comp B?

in other words is the ISO and cd key a full version of Windows 8 that allows u to install on any comp?

what i understand from the faq is you will be able to install in a brand new computer. Meaning if u got it from com A, you will still able to install on com B. But its 1 time use. Correct me if im wrong

i did read his post
i think he was addressing the concerns of having an earlier version of Windows installed first before doing the upgrade

my thoughts are that if u have activated your new Windows 8 on a comp A
u should not be allowed to activate it on comp B

but what if u activate it on comp B for the first time?

it will not matter if someone can confirm whether the ISO is a legal FULL installation of Windows 8 that can be activated on any comp even if it was activated before

what you guys choose
"keep personal files and apps"
:keep personal files":
or "nothing"

before the checkout... and when installing do they give you the choices again?

Icic...
I quote this text from the webbie:
"If you want a clean install, meaning you want to start completely fresh, you have to restart your computer and boot from the DVD / USB drive. I went through both processes to give a complete overview."

I would have assume your scenario of "activating WIN8 on computer B" akin to clean installation?

But then again, I personally have not gone down the scenario that you've described so I cannot comment much.
But if you are intending to do a clean install on computer B, it seems feasible?
:)

Cheers!

Should be retail upgrade version that can be activated many times as the product key do not have OEM in it.

Once your purchase is complete, check your email and you should receive your product CD key.
This is the real stuff for 18bucks
:D

U can install immediately if you want (but at this graveyard hours? hehehehe)
or U can opt to save it as ISO image or save to desktop as installation folder.

wait so it gives u a key or must install immediately?
