Hi guys,

How many of you here signed up for the RMIT Camp?

I'm from the Management course, after the enrollment session I queued up to sign up for the orientation. There were alot of people who signed up.

Hey bro, I'm in the Advance 2 Course, in class C. Guess your in Advance 1? I'll be meeting your classmates first then =) Don't worry and look forward to your ORD man! I'll introduce you to your classmates if I'm ever friends with them ! The induction session is a 2 hour thing that's probably gonna brief us on the usual stuff like study requirements and meet the staff. Have you chosen your minor? I chose finance.

Hey snow! Class is on SIM's student portal as well as book list. Did you get your student number correctly?

ya, my mistake, can log in already. Just that the book list and timetable issues in student portal still haven't resolved. I clicked Timetable tab then it said "Record: Please check with your programme officer. Timetable information is not available." Regarding book list, which tab should i go?

Hey snow, for time table and book list once you log into SIM's portal, go to "NEWS & NOTICES >>>" on the left and look at everything in the inbox.

Ohh thanks..i found the timetable already..regarding the Class Allocation List and January 2012 Semester Booklists i cannot find in Administration. Maybe they didn't update for my course ba.

Yeah I guess, do keep checking everyday =) I already got one of my books as a 2nd hand hahaha!

Because there are no tutorial classes like those in local uni, so only have 3hrs of lecture per day.

Yes, sometimes entire week will have no lessons at all. U can use the free time to do your assignments or revise what have been taught so far.

If you think you have too much free time everyday because of only have 3hrs of lecture per day, maybe u can do part-time work.

did u read carefully on the 2nd page of your timetable?
It's assignment week from end feb to early march. Meaning it's likely to be a test week.
