It is not compulsory to buy all textbooks. U can choose to buy which one u think u need to use it. Some textbooks are necessary as they may aid you in understanding or enforce your understanding on what is being taught and you may need the textbooks for reference when you are doing assignments. U may also need to use some textbooks for revision for exam. If you want to save money, you can buy second-hand textbooks or borrow from the library.

i don feel like gg for the enrolment:x

I have checked with the person-in-charge, the enrolment session is compulsory. The session requires to fill in some personal particulars of yourself, that's what I'm told.

But should you not be able to attend due to certain reasons, you can assign a proxy to go on your behalf, with the presence of the proxy form signed by both you and your proxy.

So, if you really have nothing to do, just go. :)

The enrollment session is compulsory, definitely need to attend. At this session, u will be enrolling yourself to be a RMIT student, select and enroll modules to be taken for the current semester and next semester. If you don't attend, you will not be recognize as a student and you will not be able to get any lecture notes from the RMIT learning portal. If you really cannot make it, ask a proxy to attend on your behalf.

As for orientation, you can choose to go or not.
