Likewise. As in, i most probably will be taking management as well. I'm actually into marketing, but then after looking at the modules offered by both degrees, i think management looks easier to score for me. Moreover, i guess they will allow us to choose one specialisation in the final year? Just like your poly? Then maybe that's when i will choose marketing :)

Anyway, i have got a diploma in business IT from TP, so does that mean that i will only need to spend 1.5 years to pursue the degree? Same to you? Anw, which poly were you from? I wanted to take Business Studies back then too. But apparently, i made the wrong choice. haha :s13:

Hmm nope they do not have major, they only have minor to choose, maybe you should take a look at the website for the modules.

I am not sure if you are 1.5 years anot =/. I am from Ngee Ann Poly, just next to it! hahah!..

Hmm, from the website it says 'Exemptions are decided by the University and are granted automatically to students with the relevant background. There is no need to apply.' and 'Advanced 2: 1.5 years (12 modules)
• An RMIT approved relevant business diploma from any of the local polytechnics'. Hmm, so i guess should be 1.5 years? If so, that would be great. Can get degree faster :)

Oh, my friend was from ngee ann poly business studies as well. lols. Alright alright, shall apply for this course soon. Sad thing is i couldnt find any friend to apply with :( :( Hate the feeling of entering a school all alone. lols.

Well, same for me. All my friends are scattered everywhere. lols. Why skip the orientation?? GO TGT LA!! HAHA! Go there know more friends. Will be beneficial when it comes to finding group for projects. Most importantly, you wont feel so lonely on the first day! haha.

Anw, on 2nd thought, do you think Bachelor in Mgmt is too generic?? :s11:

i don't like to do activities. =X ops, not that kind of active person, yea i know i will be able to make alot of friends there, but but but but >.<...

LOL, yea i did think about it, its too general, but i do not want to just focus on one. Let say if we did marketing, our job will be - mkting. If it is mgmt, we can still choose. Unless you are sure your gonna do mkt next time.

Well, for now, my interest is actually in marketing. But i dont know if the interest can last me for 30 years. haha. And yeah, you're right there. Though mgmt is too generic, but at least its versatile. Oh man. Tought decision here. SO fickle minded, ikr. haha. But at the end of the day, i got a feeling i will still apply mgmt, even when it doesnt give me an area of specialisation. I mean, you gotta take some risk in life, isnt it? lols.

Anw, talk so much, i will still work in events industry first after i guaduate! Got a place alrdy! hehe :D

JUST GO LAAA! HAHA! Actually i am not those enthu kind as well. But still have to go for the sake of making friends :) Must physco someone to go with me :D (not that i know you) hahahaha :s13:

Hi,

I suggest that you call SIM to ask about it. It's quite a unique case so I guess it's case by case basis?
