They are looking at your relevant diploma and grades. 'O' level English grade is not so much an issue. I also got D7 for my english however I got a place in the PT business mgt.

Yup, you are right... Like i said, either you have local polytechnic diploma (technical or business) or SIM diploma and the result at least average B- and above, it should be fine.

For technical diploma --> no advance standing.

For Related business diploma --> Advance standing subjected for approval...
