Lol, Hi guys, I enrolled in the RMIT Business Management this July as well.

But i done and ****ed up as I thought it was July 15th. **** me. And I can only go down Tomorrow. any advise.

Alright, perhaps I should write in detail pertaining to my situation.

Well when I got my admission notice, I was over the moon as I was previously rejected from other courses of study elsewhere. I read through the dates and noted down what I needed to, then settled down and waited for my date of enrolment, which I thought to be July 15th.

Well imagine my face a few days ago when I realised I got it all wrong, and that I missed the deadline for the surveys, introductory sessions and even the submission of study plans. I didn't even receive an invoice by the 23rd, which was what had me worried. RMIT even emailed me on the 20th or so, which went to my normal email account, allowing me to think that everything was on course. see, most of the information was being accumulated in the Mymail account they make for you, and I neglected to check there. So, remember to set your own accounts as default next time.

Hello, I'm in Business management as well, are you in advance 1 or 2?

Now you've gotten your simconnect and mymail account info, right? If I'm not wrong, you can do the survey anytime but you have to complete the survey in order to start planning your class enrollment. I'm guessing RMIT also emailed you your student number. So you've only missed the enrollment talk on 15/16th June and freshmen orientation camp on 29/30th June.

Now you only need to plan your class timeslot on 6th~16th July and hope they send you the tax invoice soon. July mostly only have visiting lectures so if you manage to finish planning on 6th of July, you probably missed at most 1 or 2 visiting lectures.

Updates, so as to not leave y'all hanging.

Well yup, apparently after you've missed the initial dates, I basically have to apply for everything on the 6th to 16th window instead, and the invoice will be given accordingly. It's not a big mess up but one that all future students would like to avoid if they read this!

Sigh, I'm terrible with time management of dates. I mess up July and June so easily and my calendars are easily messed up.

Thanks for the concern of forumers, and see everyone in school soon!

(btw, anyone going for clubs or stuff like that?)

p.s. what's advance 1/2? I am so sorry I am crap ><

This thread is so inactive compared to the UOL's or RMIT January intake...

I have interest of joining a CCA too, maybe deciding so after visiting the CCA recruitment drive on 15th/16th July~

CCA fairs are next week. Student council recruitment is this week.

Adv 1 and 2 refer to course duration.

Adv 2 being 1.5 years and the other 2 years.

Not sure what they call the jc batch

Anyway good to know that your issue has been rectified
