SIM - UOL 2014 intake

Guys,

I have chosen and validate and confirm my class but I still can't see what lecturer is teaching me. Is this normal?

anybody in AnF year1?
How do you all choose maths 1 and stats 1.
I tried putting in the same time slot since it half year module.
But i can't validate it.

so for year 1 students, we only need to select level 100 courses?

level 200 and 300 courses are for year 2 and 3 students respectively?

I'm not sure about 200 and 300, but the 100 courses are recommended for Year 1 students Personally I am only going to select the 100 courses (4 units altogether) for this coming academic year.

Btw does anybody know, for UOL, how long is 1 semester? And from which month to which month? Thanks.

I am from banking and finance and simconnect says it starts tmr too!

Hmm then it doesn't seem to be based on the Degrees we have chosen. I wonder how they decided on who get to enrol earlier? Does this mean we have less choices than those who were supposed to enrol today? Haha.

My friend told me Balawan is not bad, POA one if i remember correctly.

Another friend told me econs go for dr zhang, although the accent a bit.... the notes are very detailed and easy to understand.

Does anyone know if orientation day is compulsory? According to the enrollment talk, FOD is compulsory while the camp isn't?

Hmmm, according to my friend it is not compulsory. Don't know? From the talk they say that you have to register for FOD so they know the number of attendees and won't waste food. So I assume that if you don't register means you not going? Same goes for FOC, only difference is FOC need pay money.

From what i understand from my seniors, FOD and FOC are not compulsory.

On a separate note, i've been trying to enrol for my classes since yesterday morning. Still cannot. the page takes forever to load.
