Yes from poly, 5 years ago. Thurs off. Yess, must be very hardworking
Ah, we must take at least 12 units worth right?
Greetings everyone!
I'm from A&F and here's my timetable:
Tuesday:
Intro to Econs 12.00pm-3.00pm (EC 1002 - L15)
Wednesday:
Principles of Banking & Finance 8.30am-11.30am (FN 1024 - L09)
Mathematics I 3.30pm-6.30pm (MT 105A - L04)
Statistics I 3.30pm-6.30pm (ST 104A - L04)
Thursday:
Principles of Accounting 3.30pm-6.30pm (AC 1025 - L05)
Anyone has the same modules as me? We can be friends! =)

did you receive the letter regarding the pairing of Math I and Stats I? The pairings are there, though some of the pairings are on different days. For me, I chose the same day. Yeah I know right. At first, I also thought that there must be a mistake somewhere but I have checked the individual dates and they are okay.
Btw, we are only allowed to take 4units right? (Intro to econs, Principles of Accounting, Principles of Banking & Finance, Math I & Stats I right?)
The webpage states 12units but when I clicked on the other modules there are no available classes?
Also, I cannot view the names of my lecturers. In my "personalised timetable" there are no names of the lecturers. I'm asking because when I called the student office to ask about this, the receiver told me that some of the students are able to view the names of their lecturers and I have to "wait for the system to update itself"? He was unable to give me a definite deadline when the system will update itself. Is this true? (Not really sure the receiver knows what he is talking about though, sounded like a newbie/part timer.)
Thank you. =)
mon econs 8.30-11.30 (2021) pbf 12-3 (1591)
tues poa 830-1130 (1097) tues maths 12-3 (1185) 1st sem, stats 12-3 (1346) 2nd sem
I called the school. They said the lecturers are still undecided, hence not able to see or even choose the lecturers unlike last year. They even took away the tutorial for intro to econs from this year onwards. I so wanna bang the wall. Gonna crash class for lecturers that are good.
How will they calculate the attendance if u crash lectures?
Intro to econ is the hardest and also the subject that required more understanding and background knowledge as compared to other subjects. I have taken Econ in Jc before and most of the topic tested in jc also in the syllabus for Intro to econ.
Taking away the Econ tutorials is equivalent to suicide lol.
As for the crashing of lecture...I don't really mind paying the fine after crashing all the lecture.
I think mine is the same as your Monday. But how come different number?
Monday:
Intro to Econs 8.30am-11.30am (EC 1002 - L07)
Principles of Banking & Finance 12.00pm-3.00pm (FN 1024 - L04)
Lol...Just Imagine when your econ lecture is on fri and the lecture u wan to crash is on thur and no one tap your card for you....I guess you have to come back on fri jus to tap your card![]()
Speaking from my personal experience, I highly doubt that. Especially if it's coming from the student office. These people are just part timers who will tell you any lies just to end the call.
For my case, I called them every day for a week to resolve the issue of my acceptance offer. Every time, they will just tell me "the system needs time to update itself" or "we have forwarded your case to the director of the program". The day before the deadline for the acceptance offer, I took the initiative and called the IT department and realised my case has not been forwarded to them at all!
It's the same with timetable issue. I called and was told that I can only see the names of the lecturers after I validated and confirmed the timetable? They simply DO NOT know anything!
And not to mention they take like 10-15mins(I'm not kidding) every time just to verify my name and NRIC?
Anybody attending the same workshop? =)
