It's actually up to u to decide whether u need textbooks or not. Basically lec notes should be enough, but then if u wanna score well and beyond, it's best to read some outside info and then incorporate them into examples for the main texts, that will boost your answers during exams and therefore will help u to score much better grades.

Do we need to print out the notes in the portal? When I used to study there they would give out hard copy notes before the first lecture. I'm an ex-student, now returning back to studies again.
