Hi all, just received my student account in SIM, my enrollment talk is on 7th july, do i have to register for the talk? if so, how? i tried clicking on the hyperlink in the previous email before, but takes me to nowhere, do i have to register via student portal?

I'm actually looking for a study buddy. With so many people teling me its a 1 chance thing at uol and with you never have a feel of how questions are , fail the paper, that is it.

i went to work first , so i'm entering at an older age

Nope it's not really a one time thing cos before the real exam we get to sit for another exam under the Uol ... That's what the ppl thr told me

there's a prelim in feb/march before the actual paper in May but the prelim doesn't count for your final result. means even you fail the prelim or score 90 for the paper, it will not affect your actual result at all.

Me no biz background. I came from poly and my Dip is Biotech, so I'm switching to Business Deg, get 2 diff fields for both Dip and Deg.

Okay, this is better at least theres a "mock exam" to know where you stand. I thought we could be going in blind.

for my papers, some of the prelims are just past year papers so not really a good gauge of what will be the standard of the actual paper. there are exceptions where the prelims are actually at a comparable standard to the actual paper so kinda depends on what the examiners are thinking haha.
