Me lor, just went to SIM website and change liao lo to 24th.

they change to 24 coz they state that the 23 one is full..

(The 23rd July Orientation is closed for registration, you are invited to join the 24th July 2012 Orientation)..that's wat they said ..

But me that time signed up for 23rd le and they got send email say will reserve the slot for me, so meaning i go on 23rd right??

should be bah..they should like email those who going on the 23rd to remind them abt that...coz wat if ppl forget that they are in the thing..

I still have the email from 09 jun saying the 23rd slot reserve for me, but now they change like that in the student portal, me also blur. Never mind, i send email to them le asking which day should i go, 23 or 24??

The problem is there is no email..a lot of people have not received it yet.

is it the one that we need to update our personal details, select the modules for our first year and also to pay the registration fee in pound?

i got that email before i get to choose my timetable... HAHA!!! *opps

but we wont be getting any official letter saying that we are accepted from UOL???

I don't think is compulsory to go. Saw this news just now: For absentees and non-attendees (during orientation), you may collect your card from:
Student Services #1.28, Level-1, Block-B
28th July – 11th August 8.30am – 7.30pm (Weekdays) 9.00am – 1.00pm (Saturdays)Close on Sundays and public holidays

COLLECTION OF SIM STUDENT CARD
For students attending the Freshmen Orientation on 23rd or 24th July,
you will receive your card in the afternoon from your Student Council leaders.
For absentees and non-attendees, you may collect your card from:
Student Services
#1.28, Level-1, Block-B

28th July – 11th August
8.30am – 7.30pm (Weekdays)
9.00am – 1.00pm (Saturdays)
Close on Sundays and public holidays

You will need the card to scan (register) your class attendance on the electronic card reader in the LTs.
Students who have been issued a card before in other SIM programs (eg. DMS, Bridging) need not collect another card. Please continue to use the same card.

I got that email, but then got the official email letter as well from UOL.

Anybody finish registering at UOL student portal?? Can I make payment using debit card by DBS bank?? Cos payment is in pounds.
