Anyone knows which are better - Bachelor of Management (UOL) or Bachelor of Accounting and Finance (UOL)?

Applied Management, done all the paperwork and accessed to the portal but feel like changing to Acc&Finance because some says it has a more stable future job prospect but i feel like i am not a number person. It's contradicting. Idk what to do.. Management covers what Acc&Finance covers and need to study more of it i think. Any suggestion?

hi,

in my opinion i think each degree has their own merits. it ultimately boil down to whether you are tending towards the more quantitative side (where you get excited when u see numbers) or more qualitative side. In Uni, no matter what course u take; writing essays is inevitable. If you wanna work in the accounting sector; AnF is the degree you should go for whereas management is more general ( like BSc Business). I think the degree title is not really important; what matter most are the modules you choose/must take.

I'm taking BSc Business and is in my final year. Both BSc Business and BSc Management is around the same just that the latter require more pre-requisite modules. If you are more of a writing person; there are many management modules that you might be interested in. During my 3 years in BSc Business, i took a combination of quant/qual modules and i like the flexibility. In addition, there is lesser restrictions for business.

If you do not mind paying a transfer fee; you can start off with perhaps a management degree and decide whether you wish to switch over to the AnF/BnF side after year 1.

my talk is on the 7th of july ! the orientation camp is held at aloha resort .

Will any old birds kindly tell me more about orientation day, kinda interested but not sure whether i should take leave for work on that day.

U study full-time or part-time?? If full-time study still can work meh??

hi guys;

do you have friends studying the same mods as you? if there is then i think can skip the orientation? For me i did not attend any enrollment talk or orientation; a bit regretted but nonetheless I have a great study partner whom study with me throughout the 3 years.:)
