I've been quite swayed by my emotions over the past few days. I've enrolled for SIM UOL Business

There has been talks dissuading me for UOL, citing reasons like,

- Age, you going to be quite old when you come out
- Prospect, Prestige, there are a lot of SIM students who can't find job
- One exam policyUOL is tough , a lot of dropouts you know

Consider that I went to work first like chiwawa, so its quite sad that I need to find a good buddy.

And from what I understand , once payment is made, you will be an official student. Can any seniors or enrolling students shed some light and help me attain enlightenment :o

why worry about the exams? if u signed up uol i assume you are goin to try your best to ace the exams, or are u one who just wana pass everything smoothly, hoping everything is easy.
if u belong to the latter i can tell u u're in for a hard time.

in my 2yrs in SIM, i've met many ppl. those with the happy-go lucky attitude are often the ones who got borderline results/ failed a couple of modules.
of coz results aren't everything, but since u've enrolled into uol, might as well make the best out of it

btw i came from a engineering bckground from poly, with ZERO knowledge in econs and the economical math /stats they do in uol.
but im still doing fine, the exams are not that bad if u r willing to put in more effort

Huh? :eek:Seriously? The lady over the counter handed it back to me. hahaha guess she's probably new.

Me at the counter. The lady took the form from me that time. Then she ask me check whether card is ready or not at student portal.
