Is it a must to go for the enrollment talk? I have a friend who's doing business and finance year 3 in SIM UOL and she said that the enrollment talk is just introduce the course and the structure, nothing much one.

The website state its compulsory. Also, the talk will teach u on the various payment methods, how u choose your timetable and units, deg structure and other misc stuff as well. So I would rather go, if not later blur to the admin procedures ah.
