Anyone knows roughly how long does it takes to complete the port-in existing number process? Cos I've submitted to activate TPG sim card this morning, 07/05/2022, around 10.30am. Then I received an email saying the following:
Port-In Request Submission Date: 07/05/2022
Expected Port-In Date: 08/05/2022
Then, around 11.30pm I saw that my current existing GIGA line has no network so I thought the port-in was done, but when I swapped the current sim card to TPG sim, there's no network at all. Is there like a few hours downtime when porting between telcos? Is it the same for other telcos too?

Should be done when you wake up tomorrow... Normally a few hours.

I recalled once it done you should get an email saying completed port over

All telco including tpg similar pattern, cut off old line around 11pm, new sim card got signal around 1230am-1am+, then sms otp starting available from 1am or later till morning

IMHO.
Any idea if it is similar to prepaid porting to postpaid i.e. if it is even possible ?

does tpg allows sign new no. 1st then port in own hp no at later date say 2 weeks later???

Hi! I would like to upgrade my parent's TPG Senior Plan to the normal 100 GB plan. However, I cannot find an option inside his TPG account to upgrade. Any idea how to do it, please?

Auto upgrade for 50gb $10 plan.

20gb for $5, you won't be able to upgrade.

So I guess he has to go to the TPG centre to upgrade....
Not allowed too. SIMBA Have no mechanism to upgrade/downgrade the plan even if you're willing to pay.

Have to port out and back in if u want the upgrade badly and need the number too.
